About Us
Here at (MC)^2, we are all about math! From discovering its inner beauty to exploring new and exciting topics not covered in school, we endeavor to help you see mathematics in a whole new light. In addition, we will improve and showcase your competition math skills so that you’re ready for Mathcounts, AMC, and beyond! After coming to (MC)^2, you’ll never look at math the same.
Our focus is to encourage and outreach to middle schoolers in the greater Montgomery area to grow in their knowledge of the mathematical sciences in a fun, friendly, and educational environment. We meet every Saturday from 1:30-3:00 in AUM's Goodwyn Hall, room 201 & 202. We look forward to seeing you here! We are sponsored by the AUM Math and Computer Science Department.

Who We Are
QUINN LEEMARTHA YIN |
Quinn is currently a sophomore at LAMP High School in Montgomery, Alabama. She first discovered her passion for math through the glorious multiplication table. She participated in the MATHCOUNTS program at her school along with Martha, making the team in seventh and eighth grade. Currently, she enjoys recreational math and hopes to go to the International Math Olympiad one day. She enjoys singing obnoxiously in the shower, learning foreign languages, and watching TV excessively.Martha is currently a junior at LAMP High School in Montgomery, Alabama. Ever since her toddler years, Martha has been fascinated with math, often forgoing television for math puzzles. In middle school, Martha began to apply her passion for math, joining MATHCOUNTS and becoming the first girl in more than a decade to land a coveted spot on her school's team. Now in high school, Martha looks to foster and share her interest in mathematics with others. In her free time, Martha enjoys swimming, watching football, and online shopping. |
